With the introduction of the professional levelling systems codex LS 1 and LS 2, the codex range of accessories has been meaningfully expanded with two additional products.Both systems are primarily used when laying large-format tiles and slabs in order to quickly and safely compensate for height differences between the individual tiles. The result is a perfectly levelled tile surface of the highest laying quality.

Depending on preference, the installer can choose between two systems. codex LS 1 consists of pull tabs and wedges and robust metal pliers. The codex LS 2 with threaded tabs and ergonomic pull-caps, on the other hand, requires no additional tools. Both systems are ideally suited for laying tiles and slabs on walls and floors and, with a wide range of covering thicknesses (LS 1 from 6-12 mm / LS 2 from 3-20 mm), cover universal applications.

codex LS 1 and LS 2 convince with stable and very good quality thanks to high quality materials. For example, overwinding is virtually impossible with the particularly smooth-running pull caps. There is a clear view of the threaded tab through the openings on the pull caps, which means that any possible thin-bed mortar coming out is seen immediately and can be removed while fresh. The flat wedges also allow clean working, as they use metal pliers to achieve a well-dosed and even distribution of force.

For an homogeneous joint pattern, tabs for several joint widths are available.The threaded tabs are suitable for joints that are 1.5 mm and 2 mm wide and for floor coverings that are 3 mm - 20 mm thick. The pull tabs are designed for joints that are 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm wide and for coverings that are 3 mm - 15 mm thick. Both tab variants can be easily placed under the tile. This simultaneously creates an edge protection that offers a high degree of safety when laying the neighbouring tile. By slightly tightening the inserted wedges or pull caps, the tile surface can be levelled out effortlessly and in good proportion. Time-consuming reworking is not necessary, as overteeth can be avoided. Thanks to the simple application, a time and thus cost-saving end result is achieved.

After the tile adhesive has hardened, both installation systems can be removed by gently knocking them off, for example with the feet. Pull caps and wedges can then be reused several times and are compatible with many other systems.
